I COBed as a sophomore after swearing up and down that sorority life wasn't for me. After seeing how much fun my friends had in their sororities and how close they were becoming with their sisters, I wanted nothing but to rush. It was the best decision I made at Brown. Greek life has allowed me to make friends I never would have met otherwise. During stressful weeks, I look forward to spending quality time with my sisters at formal events, going apple picking, or simply watching movies in the lounge. Greek life has prepared me in ways I never imagined by empowering me to take on leadership roles and gain professional experience. Outiside of Greek life, I am involved in various political realms (NY government, discrimination law, policy research) and am the D&I Coordinator for Ivy Film Festival.
I wouldn't trade my life as a sorority girl for anything! Please reach out if you have any questions about Panhellenic Sororities at Brown.

I knew I was interested in Greek Life when I attended Panhalloween my freshman year. As an only child and someone who loves her hometown family dearly, making the move to Providence was a difficult adjustment for me. I wanted the opportunity to carve out a community for myself that had the same laughter and love I missed at home. Joining my chapter has been exactly that and more. In my chapter, I ask my older sisters for life advice and all things Pre-Law, go on day trips for various events, binge reality TV shows in the lounge, and host pizza nights. I have never met a more hilarious and genuinely welcoming group of girls on campus. Greek life has provided me with numerous opportunities to further my career and gain insight from professionals in various industries.
Outside of loving Greek life, I am also involved in policy research and writing, and I am passionate about environmental legislation. I would be happy to chat with anyone about recruitment, the Buffalo Bills, traveling, or answer any questions about joining a sorority!

After joining Brown, I wanted to find a place on campus that truly felt like home. I wasn’t sure at first if a sorority would be the right fit, but being in a sorority has helped me find my sisters. Being part of a sorority means having constant support, empowerment, and people in your corner no matter what. Whether it's commiserating during late-night study sessions, cheering each other on at events or intramurals, or just laughing at something totally random after a long day, I’ve found a bond that’s real. Joining a sorority helped me find my place at Brown, a place where I can always be myself, and that’s something I’ll cherish forever. Outside of Greek life, my chapter has supported me in my other activities like attending my F@B shows and Brown Outing Club hikes.

As an international student, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Greek life, but I quickly found joy in discovering a community that welcomed me with open arms. Theta has given me the chance to bond with women from very different cultural and academic backgrounds that I might never have connected with otherwise. It has felt like finding a family away from home, offering me a safe space and a supportive community that reminds me of my sisters back home. Outside of Greek life, I serve on the board of Brown Women in Business and the Brazilian Student Association, and I also work for the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies.

I joined Greek life as a freshman and couldn’t be happier with my decision to be a part of a sorority. Although I was initially unsure of Greek life, it opened up a sisterhood that I can talk to everyday and depend on for anything that I need. Outside of Greek life, I am a Community Coordinator on Brown’s Campus and work on organizing the Model United Nations team! I love to weightlift, cook & bake, and make various forms of art in my free time!
