Is sorority life for me?
Are you passionate about community engagement and volunteering?
Is high academic achievement important to you?
Do you enjoy meeting new people?
Do you want to use your time at college to learn not only in the classroom, but also to grow as a person with new life skills that will help you beyond your years in school?
Do you want to find new ways to participate in the Brown community?
Do you want to explore and get to know Providence?
Do you want to explore new opportunities, and help create them for others?
Do you enjoy participating in athletics, performing on stage, or making any kind of art? Are you passionate about something?
Do you want a safe space to recognize others and be recognized for achievements and contributions?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, then you can find a home in a sorority at Brown.
Each chapter is different, but sisters in Alpha Chi Omega, Delta Gamma, Kappa Alpha Theta and Kappa Delta participate in all kinds of opportunities from intramural and varsity athletics to performance groups to writing for campus publications and much more! On top of that, they host events to raise money for local charities and volunteer at a wide variety of local organizations. If you get involved in a leadership role, you'll basically be an officer on the board of a small corporation.
To see if Greek Life at Brown is a fit for you, come to our recruitment events. You'll meet lots of new people—including your potential sorority sisters and lifelong friends.
