Panhellenic Council Executive Board

Sienna Jaroszewski
President

Class of 2028
Concentration: Economics (Public Policy track)
Hometown: Buffalo, NY

I went through formal recruitment my freshman year after a difficult start at Brown. I was debating transferring before my friend convinced me to rush and give our school one more try. I have never been more grateful for that. Greek life has opened so many doors for me, and the most dedicated, successful women constantly support me through hard times and my greatest achievements. My chapter pushes me to do things outside of my comfort zone, even if they are scary. I look forward to spending time with my sisters at our philanthropy events, craft nights, and in-house meals before chapter every week.

I am so excited to continue with the Panhellenic Executive Council this year. Outside of Greek life, I am involved in the Journal of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, Athletic Academic Tutoring for ECON1620, Sustainable Business Society, and Women in Business. I love Buffalo sports, sudoku puzzles, junk journaling, and talking about mental health awareness.

Coming into Brown as a Londoner, I didn’t know much about sororities beyond what I’d seen in movies. That being said, I'd grown up swimming on a team and having friends that felt more like family and so I knew that I'd want to recreate that dynamic at Brown too.

I decided to rush as a way to meet new people, and I’m so glad I did. I ended up finding a community that I really click with, and I became friends with some incredible people that I may not have met otherwise. The thing that I find so cool about being in a sorority is that we're all so different in terms of our activities and interests, and yet we're still able to come together as a community to support each other.

Outside of Greek life, I work with SHAG, and I’m also a Meiklejohn. I also love to do yoga, explore new restaurants/bakeries on Beli, and go on long walks with my friends.  Feel free to reach out if you have questions about anything, from recruitment to food recs!

I joined Greek life my freshman year, and I wholeheartedly believe that it was one of the best decisions I've made during my time at Brown. My chapter is the reason I've met some of my best friends, and during stressful weeks I always look forward to formal events with my sisters, picnics, beach days, and even late night movies lounge. The community I've found feels like my family away from home, and it's been incredible to have a supportive, constant group of girls by my side as I navigate everything from classes and internships to life in Providence! Outside of Greek life, I'm a member of Global Research and Consulting Group, Club Tennis, the Brown Daily Herald's Social Media Team, and a TA for ENGN 0090.
